Recent disasters, now covering more than a dozen states, are devastating the Midwest, East Coast and Gulf Coast. The United Ways of the Midwest and South Disaster Fund provides emergency assistance, such as help with food and shelter, as well as support for long-term recovery efforts in education, financial stability and health to rebuild lives devastated by these disasters.
The United Ways of the Midwest and South Disaster Fund is administered by United Way for the Greater New Orleans Area. Online donations can be directed to the general disaster fund or to one of the states participating in the fund: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
